HORRIFYING STORY: "I killed my daughter," a Queens mother told a 911 operator, according to police sources.
Francis Cabello, 32, was charged with murder Thursday night in the death of her 5-year-old daughter, Fabiana, the NYPD said.
Police found the girl unconscious and unresponsive just before 7 p.m. Wednesday in a bedroom of a two-story home on 110th St. in South Richmond Hill. She was bleeding from her nose and mouth, police confirmed.
When officers arrived, they found the mother downstairs, and she told them, "She's upstairs, not breathing." EMS took the girl to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.

Francis Cabello, 32, — wearing a long white gown and sneakers — stayed mum as detectives led her out of a police precinct and guided her to a waiting car to take her to Queens Criminal Court for her arraignment.
Police charged Cabello with murder Thursday evening, a day after 5-year-old Fabiana Cabello was found unconscious and unresponsive inside the home on 110th Street near 95th Avenue in South Richmond Hill.
Police had been called to the home in April 2025 for an alleged child abuse incident involving the mother and daughter that was deemed unfounded.
In May, police responded to an “emotionally disturbed person” call for Cabello, and she was taken to the hospital for an examination.
